scottterrell Scott Terrell is the Director of Government Relations for the AIA California. In this position, Scott is responsible for monitoring the California State Legislature, identifying bills of interest to the profession, developing and implementing strategies for the positive outcome of legislation of interest to the profession, and representing the profession before the legislature and other regulatory and governmental bodies. He comes to AIA with legislative leadership experience, having served most recently as a Legislative Director in the CA State Senate. During his tenure at the State Capitol, he managed dynamic legislative packages for various members of both houses of the legislature, helping to accomplish qualitative and quantitative successes for the people of California.
