Join AIA California’s Urban Design Committee Housing for All Townhall on September 23rd, from 8:00am to 9:30am. The panelists will discuss relevant conversations at the intersection of public health and urban design as we look to the future of urban living beyond the pandemic. Interdisciplinary experts will discuss how urban design fosters cities to become more resilient, maintain sustainable density, improve livability for all in the public realm, and what opportunities and challenges the design profession faces in the future.
Urban Design Committee Chair Gwynne Pugh, FAIA will moderate the panel comprising Robin Hughes, President & CEO of Adobe Communities, Jeff Oberdorfer, FAIA, former CEO of First Community Housing, Leonora Camner, Director of Abundant Housing LA, and Roger Sherman, FAIA, Design Director at Gensler LA.
