“Good design reduces energy use and eliminates dependence on fossil fuels while improving building performance, function, comfort, and enjoyment.” AIA Framework for Design Excellence
June 24, 2021 | 12:00pm-1:00pm PT
Speaker: Tim Kohut, AIA, LEED AP | Director of Sustainable Design, National CORE
The goal of the session is not to make architects expert in Energy Modeling, but to expand their energy literacy so they can engage in and lead energy discussions for their design teams.
All architects have an important role to play in mitigating climate change. This session’s content will apply to all types of architectural work: small to large, residential and small commercial buildings, interiors, TI, and whole building, new construction and or renovation.
This session will provide an overview of energy modeling techniques using simple, easily accessible software tools.
This webinar is made available by the support of AIA CA partner cove.tool.
