2019. What a year! To merely say that serving as 2019 AIA California President has been an honor and a privilege is wildly inadequate. This role has been challenging, exciting, rewarding, and fun. To say that I will miss serving as your President and that I will miss all of you is also a vast understatement.
Going forward, AIA CA is in the more-than-capable leadership of 2020 President, Debra Gerod, FAIA; First Vice President, Brett Dougherty, AIA; and of course Executive Vice President, Nicki Dennis Stephens, Hon. AIA CA. I cannot wait to see what great things they have planned for the coming year and for years to come!
