Partnership Opportunities

As the largest component in the AIA, we represent over 11,000 architects and design professionals – roughly 15% of the total AIA membership in the nation. We want to help you to reach the design community in California and have a variety of opportunities for exposure for your company. Whether your goal is to compete with bigger companies in your market, distinguish your product from competitors, launch a new product, or simply to attract more professionals to your product or service, AIA California has a partnership opportunity designed to meet your marketing needs.

Monterey Design Conference (MDC)
Founded in 1979, the Monterey Design Conference has become the “Renaissance Weekend” for over 900 of California’s best-known architects and design professionals. Held in Pacific Grove at the historic and beautiful Asilomar Conference Grounds founded in 1913, it has been praised as the most prestigious and best attended architectural design conference in the United States. This biennial event will be held this year from October 28 – 30, 2022 for a weekend full of design inspiration and reinvigoration.

Healthcare Facilities Forum
We are excited to be back in person after two years of virtual conferences!  This year’s event will be held in Los Angeles, California on September 22, 2022.  Visibility and attendance at this Healthcare and Healthcare Design specific event showcases your company in front of a key audience.

Academy for Emerging Professionals BRIDGE THE GAP Summit
Support local chapter emerging professional leaders on as they join together to (re)build connections with fellow emerging professional leaders – They will be collaborating in envisioning new programs for emerging professionals statewide and building a community of leadership to empower the future of the profession on July 16, 2022.

Digital Retargeting / Intelligent Marketing
Retargeting uses cookies to track visitors of one website and then reach those same visitors with ads on other websites, such as looking up recipes on the Food Network or reading the news in The Wall Street Journal. This gives your company the ability to reach AIA California’s members, and thousands of qualified leads whenever they are online and reach AIA California’s site traffic, wherever they go after visiting the website. Plans ranging from 50,000 – 150,000 impressions are available.

Member Education Presentation
By hosting a Member Education Presentation you’ll have the opportunity to conduct a special one-hour virtual seminar for registered attendees. AIA CA will work with you to prepare your presentation, submit for continuing education credit, and host and run the online platform.  AIA CA will promote at state level as well as provide marketing materials to the local chapters for further promotion.

Climate Action Webinar
In 2019, AIA California launched an in-depth series focused on understanding and implementing the AIA Framework for Design Excellence with the intent to continually inspire sustainable, resilient and inclusive design. This series features monthly webinars available for live audiences and by mid-2022, these sessions will also be available OnDemand. All sessions will qualify for AIA Continuing Education credit with a focus on Health, Safety, and Welfare (AIA LU/HSW).

Recognizing we cannot do this alone; AIA CA also partners with various organizations to bring bonus educational content to our membership monthly.

Dedicated eBlasts
AIA California is the voice of the architecture profession, dedicated to serving its members, advancing their value, and improving the quality of the built environment. Our membership, including licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners in design, all share their commitment to excellence and livability in the nation’s buildings and communities. We have many opportunities for you to reach the architectural community in California and get your product or service in front of those who make decisions with eBlasts. If you are looking for a specific sect of our membership – i.e. custom residential architects, small firms, young architect, zip code / geographic area, etc. – we can segment our membership to ensure you’re reaching the audience you serve.

Social Media Takeover
Participate in a 12-hour takeover on AIA California’s Instagram account to showcase all your organization has to offer!

Architectural Education
Organizations, in order to remain vibrant and relevant, routinely adjust policies, revise standards, examine outcomes, and make adjustments to long standing methods of operation. It’s clear, based on even a cursory glance back over the past decade, and especially the past five years, that the three collateral organizations: NCARB, NAAB, and the AIA, have all made significant change, and your company can help support focusing on the well-being of the individual as they transition from student, to graduate to licensed professional.

Allied Membership
Allied membership is open to engineers, planners, landscape architects, sculptors, muralists, artists, and those in government, education, journalism, and manufacturing industry, and other fields allied to architecture.
