Architects are entrusted with responsibility for the guarding and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the shaping of the built environment. The path to architectural licensure is, accordingly, a rigorous one. Internship and Licensure
AIACC supports its membership and the profession at large by advocating for clear and responsible standards and processes for licensure, with particular attention to the internship requirements for emerging professionals. Certification in Development Strategy
AIACC’s Certified Development Strategist program identifies architects who understand the “architecture of business”—who are able to guide the owner/client in the development of facility options—from funding to real estate to design, construction and occupancy.
