Speaker: Ben Norkin About Our Speaker: Creator of Hyperfine and Principal at Ben Norkin Architecture, Ben is a licensed Architect, teacher, student, parent, and a Navy veteran. From designing contemporary net-zero-ready homes to humble residential additions; from completing a Master’s thesis to A.R.E. exams, Ben has picked up a lot over the last five years and is excited to be able to share it with others. Ben teaches architecture as well, and he always stresses to his students that he is just like they are…only a few years into the future.

Practice Management (PcM) focuses on the management of architectural practice, including professional ethics, fiduciary responsibilities, and the regulations governing the practice of architecture. Speaker: Sabas Padilla, Assoc. AIA About Our Speaker: Sabas is an Associate AIA member at the California Central Valley Chapter in Sacramento. He works as a designer for Ware Malcomb and specializes in preliminary site plans for programming and analysis. He has been involved in over 500 unique projects across various industries, including industrial, cold storage, multi-family residential, laboratories, and film studios. He is on-track to becoming a licensed architect by 2024 and has recently completed the Practice Management, and Programming & Analysis exams.
