This committee is comprised of architects with experience in urban design, planning & landscape architecture, and mobility who focus on the quality and design of regional and urban systems. Our members practice architecture, urban design or planning in private practice, higher education, non-profit and government and serve as planning commissioners, design review board members and city council members. This committee aims to improve the quality of the regional and urban environment by promoting excellence in design, planning, and public policy in the built environment through advocacy, education and communications. The committee also serves as the jury for the AIA CA Urban Design Awards program and as a policy advisory group for AIA CA.
