This session will show practitioners how they can deliver carbon neutral buildings in an equitable manner, and how design professionals and the industry as a whole can take action to bridge the green building sector with equity as a key to meeting decarbonization, resilience, climate and energy democracy goals at pace and scale. Encouraging design of Zero Carbon buildings supports healthy environments, addresses the climate crisis, and additionally incorporating equitable principles throughout the design process upholds communities’ and the public’s health and wellbeing.
