AIACA Working for You Graphic x Learning Units

Greetings from AIA California,

The architectural profession is grounded in protecting the public’s health and safety and AIA California is here to help you uphold that vital responsibility and excel in your practice.

We are committed to providing you with continuous learning opportunities to ensure you are armed with innovative thinking, best practices and applicable solutions in a rapidly changing design and construction industry.

As you know, 2025 is a licensure renewal year (10 hours in accessibility and ZNCD) and meeting these requirements may seem like a daunting chore. We all know there’s a plethora of CE available EVERYWHERE, but it’s not simply about quantity. We continuously hear from members who are searching for valuable, meaningful and relevant content. Armed with this member intel, AIA California strives to create and curate valuable learning options worth your time.

92% of attendees rated AIA California sessions as high quality and we often receive positive feedback about the “expertise” of panels members.

  • “Excellent, beyond expectations.”
  • “I will definitely share with everyone I know both at work and personal,”
  • “I wish there were presentations like this when I first started my practice!”

We’re proud to report that as of July 31, AIA California has already offered 26 webinars, comprised of 23.5 hours of HSW credit and 5 Hours to help you meet the ZNCD requirement for licensure.

All live courses are FREE to AIA California members and we also host a library of recorded sessions available 24/7/365, including required accessibility CE (which features recent design award-winning projects, sharing real-world accessibility solutions!)

And – if you’re not yet licensed – these courses are available to support your AXP journey as well!

But the true story behind the numbers is the fact this program showcases our fundamental commitment to responsive, member-driven, learning:  it’s about members, by members, for members.

Sessions are developed, programmed, and curated by members and committees, who identify the need for information on specific topics, and select thought leaders and subject matter experts to best share essential information; this is only possible thru the many contributions by the generosity of experienced professionals leaders who are committed to bringing value to their colleagues and elevating the capabilities of the profession in California.

Bringing together the community to share and create high quality, member driven education is just one more way AIA California is working for you.
